The Electronomist is.... Me!
I am a DJ and Producer from the North West of England.

I've always had a very eclectic taste in music, and to list all my influences would surely take a lifetime!
But as far as electronic music is concerned i am greatly inspired by the likes of New Order, Depeche Mode, Giorgio Moroder, Dave Clarke, Vitalic, Soulwax, Mauro Picotto, Faithless, Isao Tomita, Wendy Carlos, Jean Michel Jarre, Green Velvet, Chemical Brothers, Paul Van Dyk, Lab 4....

Basically anyone who combines great bass, beats, and rhythms with lovely warm, dirty sounding synthesizers!

I like to produce House, Trance & Techno (but dabble in other genres as i'm fond of all sorts of random music!)
When DJing I mainly love to mix House (now also under the name 'Davy J'), Techno, Trance, and Hard Dance (check my back catalogue of 'PreFix:Hard' Radio shows for this! Having a break from those for the forseeable future, but you never know!).

I also often collaborate on (Mainly Trance) projects with my producer buddy
