Ableton Live DJ Rack

Today I was playing around with Ableton Live and came up with a simple DJ effect rack.

I don’t really use Ableton very often for DJing anymore as I much prefer using a combination of Traktor and my turntables, but every now and then I will have a play around! This rack is something I wish that I had made when I used Ableton more often.

Rack1

It consists of a rack with MIDI mappable macros for 3 band EQ, High pass filter, Low pass filter, Delay, Reverb, and Flanger. Also has a Utility plug in at the beginning of the chain, and a Limiter at the end to keep the levels in check.

The effects are all set up to my taste but of course can be fully tweaked to meet your own personal needs!

To install just drag the .adg file from the folder onto the track you wish to use it on in Ableton, then you can save it to your effects racks…

or add the “Electronomist DJ Rack.adg” file in your Ableton Library…

“Intranced”… a new mix series!

I have recently got back into a lot of Trance music so figured i should start mixing more of it again!

As a result i now present the first in a new series of Trance mixes…
“Electronomist pres. Intranced Vol 1″.
